I love Pomegranates.
In Algeria we call them Rom-mane.
Mother used to tell me with a smile, not to drop one grain of the fruit, if I wanted to go to Paradise.
The grains are called Arils, where flesh covers the seed.
The best Pomegranates are the ones with tender seeds.
Tender enough to be eaten.

I absolutely LOVE pomegranates myself. I grew up with one in my backyard. My dad still lives in that house and the tree is still there. I thought you may be interested in knowing I have used Pomegranate wood on a few of my projects. If you would like to see them, just go to my site
www.wood-alley.com and in the sidebar under labels click on Pomegranate Wood and I think 4 or 5 projects will pop up. It is a beautiful and easily workable wood. I just thought you may be interested.
